Going to be changing the cambelt and, tentioners/idler pulley on my Mk1 RS and would like opinions on what cambelt/tentioners/idler is best original Ford parts or other make
CheeRS in advance for advice.

I used OEM parts as have a nice discount at fords, but if using a decent well known brand such as gates, SKF, continental chances are you get exactly the same parts without ford written on them so no worries there

Next Saturday I will be spending some time with our IT man doing some work on the forum and build list website. Need to do some changes, alterations and updates. Will also be looking at fixing the links to the images I uploaded recently so they can be seen.
Yeah its not bad mate was made even easier for me access wise as im in the middle of reassembling the front end but yeah they are quite simple engines really.

The pulleys themselves dont matter mate they can move so long as you lock the crank and the cams themselves at the other end before you undo anything. If that makes sense?
