  • Agreed Insurance

    Evening All.

Can anyone recommend an insurance company that values your car to its true value.

I used the RSOC one for a while, they were good with modifications and valuations. Boncaster was it?
Don't have to be rsoc member to get a quote.

It always amazes me how difficult a lot of you guys actually make insurance.

Remember, there are only 2 or 3 insurance companies in the entire UK. Everyone else are Brokers.

Also remember cheap is not necessarily the best. Should you have an issue you want it sorted with the minimum of fuss.
Not all insurance companies accept club valuations, their own people will clarify its value.
I had my car valued, went to Brentacre and they said to me club valuation is not accepted.

You're all big boys now, you’re not silly, put your own valuation on it.Go to your favored broker and they will negotiate its value anyway.
You will be asked to provide a certain amount of photos.

In fact my car is now insured with KGM through my broker Howdens who were A Plan, and my valuation was accepted which was actually higher than its club valuation.

I also get an agreed value certificate with it.

I can carry out an Agreed Valuations on behalf of our club. As said not all Insurance companies will accept club valuations so it's best to ask your insurer first.

Most of the Agreed Insurance Valuations are carried out and requested by Need to Insure, which many of our club members are insured through. Need to Insure are also Brokers.
