Also 2018 i had a custom set of Bilstein dampers made up as replacement dampers for our cars are getting scarce and i wanted an upgrade that is serviceable in the future too.
Must say i love how they perform, car is much more stable escpecially undr heavy braking, where with standard dampers it tended to nosedive quite hard making the back end very loose, it is now much more stable. Also bought some spares, had one of the last NOS front bumpers now in my parts dept 😎 and bought a good condition rear bumper over in the UK, which i have to thank a couple of good friends for to help with picking it up and getting it my way.

I know bonnet vent may look odd to you, but MOT rules are pretty strict overhere and cutting the structure of the bonnet is prohibited, only allowed to cut the outer skin, hence the structure is still in there and vents are not completely open

Great looking car Chris, nice touches. I have some of those vents, I've been waiting nearly 2 years for them to be made out of carbon.

Chris we could do with adding pics back up to each post without the Photobucket watermarks. Is easier to do now its not showing as broken links.

Yes the old ones Chris. Photobucket changed their rules and dont allow pictures to be displayed without subscription. We could change over gradually if you still have the originals.Host on the club server then.

Wow, long time since seen this. Not changed a lot to the car, although i still have a couple of updates i need to install, but my other cars are taking some time

RS passed it's mot last friday with flying colours, although i was a bit lucky as it could have failed, but the tester let me off with an advisory. I forgot to fill the screenwash, so these didn't work 😱😱 my fault as forgot to check before .
Done some 2k km since last year, probably due to this crazy pandemic it hasn't been out a lot this past year, but that's good to keep mileage down, now on 124k, (about 77k miles, so not too bad for an 18yr old😎) bought it with 67k in 2009.

Pics of he it stands now.

Wow, more than two years since I added something here 😳😳

0995 is a very good example of reliability (hope not to jinx it) she asks for not a lot except some regular maintenance work such as oil service with filters and plugs.

A couple of years ago one of the fans packed up at the Nurburgring, but that was an easy fix as SPAL fans are readily available, only need to change the plug on it. Also now on its third CC pump 😳😂 which is also a well-known issue on our cars, Scangauge made it show up instantly so no stress there.

I very recently acquired a set of original sunblinds in not too good shape (had 3 holes)😢 had an hour on it today to try and restore it which worked out quite well, only downside is the cloth I ordered is to repair the convertible windshields and is a bit thin, so could do with finding something more suitable. But it will do for now.
Only thing I couldn't save was the little Ford logo 😢

Good repair on the Sun Blinds Chris. A set has just been put up for sale on Facebook for £500, most I have ever seen for sale.

Clay, bought mine for €50 with holes (3part set) so well worth the risk 🤔

As I did forget, I will try and keep this a bit updated now and then. 😎

I had the RS on the lift this evening to get some well deserved maintenance.
Oil and filter change, plugs, clean the K&N, and a big brake check up. I took the pads out of the front calipers to have them cleaned of all grub and dust, making sure the pistons all still move freely, and a brake fluid flush. The car is still on its original calipers after 20+ years, but I think that is only because I service these regularly. The only thing these had done was a repair to some of the bleeding nipple threads as when I first got this car, I guess it never had a brake fluid change and nipples were seized. Since then, I put some copper grease on the threads, giving me no grief since 😎

As the Michelin SuperSports were getting a bit old and quite low on tread, I also treated the TH's to a set of Pilot Sport 5's. 😎

I did notice it needed some more work for the MOT, as the rear trailing arms bushes are on the go, so these will be ordered, one of these days.
