  • Splitter or not?

What do others think my car is completely standard and i dont want to take away from the originality but the splitters really do finish these car of.

Just that one modification would make the front end so much nicer.

I have a splitter and think it finishes the front really nicely, but if my car was completely standard I would not fit one.

I disagree, I think they look good as they came out the factory but I am a standard man anyway. Having a standard car then keep it standard in my eyes.

Another thing to consider with the front splitter which many peeps have had issues with is they are so low you have to be so careful when driving near steep gradients. The amount of people that
have caught the bottom but not only scuffed the splitter but wrecked the bumper by splitting it.

Hope the above has put you off.

Haha, you know me mate, just wanted to steer mayo rs away from modding a car that has been kept standard from Factory. ;-)

My car was totally standard then I fitted a splitter and a milltek cat back exhaust. I love the look of the exhaust, it looks a lot better than the original pea shooter tail pipe but I keep looking at the splitter and thinking about taking it back off. Yes they do finish the front off but when I see cars without one they also look good.

I think the splitters look good, and do make the car look a little more aggressive....however.... I am one of those who had an incident with piece of metal (for bollard) where there was a small dip in the road.

Over flexed my bumper cracking it in a few places and splitting the underside.

Worth giving a thought first. Cost me a few quid to put right :-(

I must be in the minority but I don't like the splitter, it spoils the lines of the front as its too low and doesn't match the rest.
                Standard is perfect imo

Can you please tell me how to install my splitter on the car? As I remember on the car, the bumper and the plastic guard are fastened with plastic clips. Instead of the plastic clips I need to install your bolts and nuts. But how do I get inside the bumper to fix the nuts? I don't understand how to install. Do I have to remove the bumper to do this?

Best way with these splitters is to put it on Ebay.
Sorry for wrong advise, but they do more harm than good.

@GarryT they don't do any harm 🤣. If you're sensible about how you approach certain situations (which you really should be anyway with how deep the bumper is on an FRS) then there is zero issues. Its personal preference thats it 🤷‍♂️.

Hi, just fix the splitter to the bottom of your front bumper.

So my question was how to fix it! The right way to do it. Because the holes that match in both the bumper and the splitter are occupied. And accordingly, I was just wondering how someone installed it. xD
