Is vibra-technics the only way to go for upper gearbox mount? I don’t want vibrations through the car and I can see they offer a ‘standard uprated’ option - would be good to get some feedback from others who have this fitted? Also is there a finis code for the gearbox mount nuts? I looked at the Febi option and I don’t want to fit inferior parts ideally.

Dan there is nothing inferior with Febi parts.
You might already know,but if you dont,parts are not easily off the shelf for these cars,so sometimes you have to compromise.
Ford never made nuts,bolts,washers etc.
for those items just use any local suppliers you might have.
Ive used a company called Westfield Fasteners for many years on all sorts of cars. -
From reading previous posts it sounded like the Febi alternative for the upper engine mount might not provide the same support as the one for the RS, as there was an RS specific one from Ford. But then again, I’m aware that Ford badged many parts with ‘RS’ just to add a premium

Just as an FYI - I went to my local Ford today and I was able to get nuts for top mount, Suspension Collar (middle of top mount) and upper gear box mount. Collecting on Monday, so I can share the Finis codes.Comment
