  • Throttle body housing - Aqua Blast

As many of you who know me well, I’m a self-confessed perfectionist when it comes to my car, you’ll usually find me polishing and buffing it to a shine. I have a thing for cleanliness and always strive to take my car to the next level, constantly looking for ways to improve it.

That brings me to my latest project. I decided to give the throttle body housing a facelift. So, yesterday (Sunday), I carefully took it all apart, then brought it into work today where I used the Aqua Blast to get the results you see here. After drying it, I applied a coat of Mechoil to hopefully protect it.

And now, it’s all back together and back on the car!

Looks amazing, not heard of aqua blasting before! Assume sand blasting wouldn’t give the same result.

      Thank you.

You have to be careful with certain types of media. Some media will leave the surface looking like the moon.

Yes mate of course I will. Store your car in my garage after paint, I will do the throttle body for you and collect to suit you within reason.
